As a mom, there are times where I feel like I don't have control over much of anything anymore- even my kids.
When I start to feel like that, I get the itch for a change. Being that I can't change much, the usual suspect to take it out on is my hair. Dye can be dyed over, length can be cut and grown back- so what's the harm?
This time around I decided I needed a little spice back in my life- so I made the random decision to go 50's pinup red. And I didn't really want to stop just there. I figured if I was going to have a fire engine on my head, I wanted to take some pictures looking like a pinup too. The winged eyeliner, big lashes, and a sexy corset.

I'm not usually one to wear things of that nature, but I figured it would be fun to step outside the box and give it a go.

When you get the right corset, it's like all is right with the world. It hugs your curves, hides imperfections, and just makes you FEEL sexy.

The one I got to try is a polka dotted halter corset top, which I figured could be worn anywhere (not just for a few silly photos). It's so cute! I can't wait to get better pictures taken. The front hook clasps were pretty simple to get done up (though I will admit I did ask for help), and the back lacing tightens and loosens easily. The halter strap was loose and comfortable, not too tight around the neck (which i'm always concerned about with anything that is halter style).
